“The chef at Beartown recently accommodated a very specific food request for a child's birthday and it was wonderful. It was the only request my kiddo made for his birthday and we were so fortunate he was willing to help make it happen. “I have eating at Sara's since she opened. He menu is one of the largest if not the largest menu in New Bern. everything I have ever eaten at Sara's is delicious. The meatballs are large and delicious, and I love the marinara sauce. Service is always good with a smile. and I don't know of another restaurant that earned 100% from the NC Health Department.“

“If you know me you know cook out is my go to when trying to get something quick and easy. This one was pretty decent very clean I can say but customer service was as good as most of them. I can say the drive thru was packed but the inside was dead. I went inside and got my usual. Cajun ? Cajun ? Walking ? Food was fresh but drink machine tasted like bleach. That's why the four star, the drinks.“

“So there is a sign that says, tell us how we did and get a free Dilly Bar on your next visit. Receipt is supposed to tell you how to get free bar. Well it wasn't until I got home that I realized they didn't give me a receipt. Go figure.“

“All the staff were friendly and kind. It was busy but we still got our food quickly and it tasted delicious! Best parts though were the “kids corner” where they have crayons and coloring books for kids, and in the women’s restroom they have complimentary menstrual items for customers. I was impressed by the thoughtfulness as well as the accommodations that show they went above and beyond. Thanks for being so welcoming !“

“Some people are a gift from God, they look at life differently than most and Joe Toledo is surely one of those people. I have NEVER experienced him having a bad day, he is always positive and always speak positivity over those he encounters. Any corporation should be honored and feel blessed to have him as a representative of their core values!!! Joe, that you for the kind and meaningful words you speak to everyone you encounter, God only knows how many days you have brightened!!“
“We had such a great time at our wedding at Carolina Colours! Ken was so responsive and answered any questions I had (which was a lot). He worked with us so we were able to have our rehearsal and wedding here with only one minor hiccup (the bridal suite was locked and there was only one or two keys, but we got in and didn't budge from the day's timeline). It's one of the more affordable wedding venues in eastern North Carolina! The indoor and outdoor spaces were beautiful and we couldn't have been happier with the venue. They had their Christmas decor up for the holidays, but they made sure to use neutral colors in the ballroom so it wouldn't clash with our wedding decor. When we first went in, Ken was kind and very helpful in explaining all that we needed to know. He even gave us a list of different vendors he recommended we use for the day! I would highly recommend Carolina Colours for an event venue in New Bern, NC.“

“this was the best service I’ve ever gotten at a sonic. I got my order so fast, everything was right, and the worker was amazing. She double checked my order three times and read it back to me. There’s nothing I could’ve complained about! I’ll definitely go back again.“

“Okay experience. Our party of 5 went on a Sunday morning, typically one of their busier times. We were able to be seated promptly. Drink order was taken quickly but it did take some time for them to come out. Food was meh, especially for the prices. Waitress was very nice and doing the best she could!“

“So I only recommend Panera Bread because they have pretty good food and the team leader Dee-Dee has excellent customer service. I almost walked out today without ordering anything but she saved the day! ***However, the manager there is rude. They forgot a sandwich on Friday from a rather large order and they said they would write our name and number down and we could pick it up anytime. I went in today and placed an order for about $50 and then I asked for the sandwich to which the manager replied, “well if you don’t remember who you spoke to a week ago I don’t know what you want me to do.” Well first it wasn’t a week ago 👀 and secondly sir while I’m away training in the military and the first place I eat is Panera bread when I return to the USA the least you could do is replace my sandwich that YOU forgot. You have now wasted my time, gas, and money! Make Ms. Dee-Dee the manager the rating on this place would be higher.“

“While I usually have great experiences when coming to this location, I was not overly impressed with the young lady working the second drive thru window. When I placed my order, I asked for two natural lemonades with my order. I paid at the first window and went to the next. The young lady hands me a regular cup. I asked is this the natural lemonade. She reply’s no it’s the Minute Maid. I told her I ordered the natural as I don’t care for the other. She informed me that she rang me up for the Minute Maid. I replied to her that I asked for the natural. My daughter looked at me and said you asked for the natural, I heard you. The young lady returns with the correct lemonade and hands the first one out the window and says next time make sure you say natural when ordering. I responded to her with I did and I asked ordered two of them. Having worked fast food and worn the head sets I understand that it is sometimes difficult to hear things. But having worked in customer service and still do, her response to her mistake was completely unacceptable and inappropriate. While I will continue to go to this location, I hope this situation will be used as a training lesson for the employees that mistakes happen, but it is unacceptable for customers to be spoken to in that manner by an employee.“

“Excellent spinach and cheese dip. Shrimp and chicken grilled with garlic mashed potatoes was excellent. Unfortunately the coffee was barely warm even though the waiter said it was freshly brewed, and even after offering to microwave it my wife’s and my coffee were barely hot. A sad story indeed.“

“I like when a bartender gets to know you as a regular. We are never in a hurry, and enjoy a drink or two before we order dinner. Thanks Hank, another enjoyable evening. The food was good and the service was even better. Poppies has become our favorite local bar and restaurant. I’m a veteran and I enjoy a relaxing glass of wine, bourbon, good food, good conversation and good service!“
