“Good food, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. My husband and I went on Thursday night for dinner as we have many times in the past. My only complaint was everything was overly salted. We removed the breading from the calamari, his tuna didn't have much flavor only salty. My crabcakes were as good as always! Maybe they should cut back off on the salt, you can always add more at the table.“
“Enjoyed coffee and pastry this morning.
Met a couple of friends with guitars and jammed on the outside deck for a couple of hours. These folks were very accommodating and invited us back.
Friendly local place. May have to stop by for a beer.“
“Great coffee if you know what you want ahead of time. A bit challenging for a first time visitor as the young staff expected me to know their (difficult to find) menu.
Once ordered the coffee was amazing so I had no qualms about a return visit.“

“I ate here the other day. The food tasted average for a Chinese restaurant. They give you a lot of food and the service is great. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is small and the music is a little too loud. I would probably eat here again but I’m not going out of my way to come here.“

“Freshwater was a fabulous taproom to hang out for an hour or so while I passed the time waiting to meet up with my friend in downtown. It was a super hot day and their AC was perhaps a little stressed but otherwise, it was quiet, it was comfortable and the wifi worked well.
I enjoyed a very cold pilsner from Nashville and it was perfect. A great little watering hole and as I was heading out, a food truck arrived and was setting up.“

“We've been enjoying the food at Michaels for over a year. Love the hot dogs, Reuben Sandwich and nachos. Need to diversity and try some of their other entrees though. Not only is the food great but so is the service. Tonya who runs the bar and the food service is wonderful. I enjoy going there to talk to her. Always in great spirits and has a smile on her face. Her husband is the Chef also. Always a fun dining experience.“

“Place is really nice but I did walk past it at first not knowing the area. I did make a reservation which is the way to go since parking is limited and so is seating. The food was good and the pizza reminded me of being back in New York. Definitely a place to checkout.“

“This is the best take out Chinese food in New Bern, NC. When you pass by you think, “I wonder if that’s any good?” Well I’m here to tell you, it’s fantastic!!! If you like Asian food , live in New Bern, and are searching for a good place…try Chinese Express!!!“

“I have eating at Sara's since she opened. He menu is one of the largest if not the largest menu in New Bern. everything I have ever eaten at Sara's is delicious. The meatballs are large and delicious, and I love the marinara sauce. Service is always good with a smile. and I don't know of another restaurant that earned 100% from the NC Health Department.“

“Came to New Bern for the weekend as a family with my husband, teenager and mother. We’d read reviews and picked Morgan’s for dinner. It was amazing. We had good service (thank you, Mika), the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the wait was less than we anticipated. My salmon dinner was so good- still thinking about it. 😂 My son said one of his favorite trip memories was his hamburger and the fact that the bun wasn’t soggy. Portions were generous; some of us had leftovers. And the croissants were such a sweet starter. Recommend!“
