El Vaquero Food Restaurant Reviews
The food here was good, but not great. We had tacos, a quesadilla, and some gorditas. Meats were al pastor, lengua, and chori asada. The lengua was a bit bland. I am used to gorditas being stuffed with beans and queso fresco. These had shredded cheese. We were told to come back on Saturday because the food would be better.
Great service and good 👌🏻
Probably some of the most authentic Mexican food around. I was recommended this spot by my Mexican friends, and it definitely lives up to the hype. The food is amazing—full of flavor and seriously delicious. The pepper has a nice kick too, so it’s definitely got some heat.
Everything is made fresh to order, so nothing is just sitting under a warmer. It comes out hot, fresh, and straight to your table.

El Vaquero Food Restaurant offers authentic Mexican food that many describe as amazing and full of flavor. The people are friendly and welcoming, and the service is nice and funny. The atmosphere is clean and tidy and very on culture. Meals mentioned include tacos, a quesadilla, gorditas, a gordito, asada burritos, beef quesadilla, Lengua tacos, consomé, barbacoa, and the Torta Cubana. The Torta Cubana can be made with barbacoa lamb meat instead of beef. Everything is made fresh to order and comes out hot, fresh, and straight to your table. Some found the lengua a bit bland, but others call it the best Mexican food they have had in a very long time. It tastes like home.
