“Weekend @ the lake w/FamDamily! We had to choose between 3 different Mexican restaurants in the Metropolitan area of Norwood NC. Mr Tequila happened to be the closest so there we went. Amazingly enough - we all agreed (rarely happens) BEST MEX FOOD EVER! Svc, Food (apps, entrees and dessert) 2nd to none. “If you are looking for real deal in street tacos, the Happy Taco is your kind of place. The homemade corn tortillas were top notch. The owner is from south Texas and he has brought authentic ingredients and flavors to Elizabeth City. Service was excellent. Next time I'm in town I will make a stop here.“

“I stopped by this location for a snack before heading back to Charlotte on Monday, 03-11-24. There was a line in the drive thru, but it was kept moving with minimal wait time. I ordered the chicken cheese empanada and a mixed berry frozen drink. The young lady at the drive thru window was pleasant & greeted me with a smile. Would return again the next time I visit Goodwill.“
