Yum. What went right? The shrimp and crab were steamed perfectly. They had just the right amount of old bay seasoning. They provided drawn butter. Island dining at its best! Frequently found local seafood plates as well as the seafood staples you've grown to love! Turtle Island is right in the heart of Oak Island and a great place to take an evening stroll to during those summer months!!! Service and staff are great and always helpful!! Small bar area for drinks and lots of seating throughout. Better get there early during those peak months because they fill up fast due to people waiting to get in when the doors open!!!!

I absolutely loved this place - you MUST go. We stopped here on Friday night around 6:30 and it was about a 20 minute wait, but totally worth it. The food was absolutely decadent and surpassed any and all expectations. It doesn't look like much on the outside, but it was so good. I can't say that enough.
