“Boy howdy, where do I start? Pelican’s Perch is definitely a bar and from what I hear they serve food as well. Let’s just start with the negatives. First of all, I have never seen a single pelican perched in, or around, this establishment. False advertisement? Maybe. But what they lack in avian clientele, they make up for in their friendly service staff. All off the staff at the Pelican’s Perch are welcoming, friendly and dare I say beautiful. The most notable among them however is Taylor. Taylor (she/her) is a wait staff member who goes above and beyond the call of duty. She is the best waitress I have ever been blessed to be around. I wish everyone I dealt with in my daily life had the same gusto that Taylor has. This restaurant is blessed to have such a gracious and wonderful waitress.“
“Went there for the first time tonight based on a Facebook recommendation. The White Ricotta pizza was great! Karim the owner came out from the kitchen and spoke to everyone in the restaurant which was very nice. His daughter waited on us and the service was excellent! Told us that everything is homemade which is certainly how it tasted. Highly recommended!“
“Quick lunch and Chick-fil-A was the perfect stop. Ordered food on the app, and even though the store was very busy, we were served quickly. Food was hot and order correct. Eating area was clean and being cleaned as soon as a table cleared. Will def go back.“
“1st time here. Menu looked good. Got there when they opened at 4 pm. Was greeted with a smile and taken to a table. Nice atmosphere. Was greeted right away by Dakota. He was awesome. Very attentive. I ordered the blackened prime rib. Was hesitant because I am very picky on prime rib. I also have never tried blackened prime rib. Husband ordered the shrimp and grits. The prime rib was delicious!!!! Best in the area in my opinion. Husband loved the shrimp and grits, minus the tails were on. By 4:30, there were a lot of people there. Highly recommend and we will return with Friends. Thank you Dakota for such great service. 2nd time back. Wasn't busy. Our server Renay was very attentive and very nice. Food was really good, but disappointed no more prime rib. Got the blackened filet, it was real good. Will return.“
“The food was good but if you're Gluten Free beware! I ordered a GF item (boil) from the dedicated GF menu and they served it with regular bread. The waitress didn't understand cross contamination and the seriousness of Gluten Free items.Food was good but the management team has to do better in educating their staff on the importance of Gluten Free“
“We always enjoy our meals here. Almost everything is made in house and always very fresh. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. My favorite sandwich is the Blue Beast. The soups are always delicious as well. You can't go wrong at Causeway Gourmet.“
