Very nice store with lovely employees. The vibe is very warm and cozy as if you're at your grandmother's house. Food also tastes great--just make sure to ask for Anderson when you order a sandwich. Would absolutely recommend trying this place if you're ever near Asheville!
I love the Davis Country Store & Cafe and the community their presence creates. I enjoy their Saturday markets for art, plants, and animals. I frequent the store for eggs, elderberry syrup, honeys, teas, candles, body products and pet products, all of which are wonderful and locally sourced or made in house. The Davis Country Store & Cafe is an amazing place with a great atmosphere and lovely goodies for eating while walking the trails of Old Fort! Their merchandise is very unique and vibrant, and all items are fairly priced so you're not breaking the bank. The staff is also super friendly, which was a breath of fresh air. I would definitely recommend visiting this place, especially for the coffee and pound cake!
