“I celebrated my 40th birthday at Sushi Rose and it was such a magnificent experience! Not only is the venue stunningly decorated, but the food is top notch! We had a party of 24 and the servers were always on top of things….and they even cut my gigantic birthday cake for me. I would HIGHLY recommend Sushi Rose for your next event! 🍣 🍱“

“Have been meaning to try Dora for a while now. I take my hibachi seriously. This place does not disappoint. I had the chicken, fried rice, mixed veg with Sora sauce. Super good! Will be going back to try more options soon. Glad they are in Rural

Service wasn't great.
The spring rolls disappointed me because they had a weird taste!
Not sure what it was but I didn't care for them at all. I got teriyaki steak which came with gelatinous teriyaki sauce the likes of which I have never seen before. I asked for spicy teriyaki instead and that was definitely better.
I was just disappointed all around...so I will NEVER GO BACK to this location as that was my 1st and last time!“

“There's not enough space to describe how good Tokyo is ! Max is the best bartender around! We have loved getting to know him and enjoying all his concoctions! The owners are the sweetest people and know how to run a business! The food is always fantastic and the prices are reasonable! We come here weekly and don't plan on changing that anytime soon !“

“Kimono’s is my favorite Japanese place around. My go-to is spicy teriyaki steak with udon noodles and zucchini. It really doesn’t get much better.
The staff is always a treat as well, they are always very welcoming!
If you’re in the area and like Japanese food. I recommend giving Kimono’s a shot.“

“I've ordered both online (for delivery) and in person. Both times the food was delicious, and plenty to eat. I am so happy that the Jade Express has come to Winston-Salem. The lady that served me the other day was an absolute joy.
Please support this business. They seem like good folks, who value both tasty food and their customers.“

“After getting off to a rocky start with the server - I had to comment to the manager the server was more than a bit agitated - the service improved. My daughters wanted chicken tempura, something not offered on the kids' menu, so I ordered an adult version and split it up between the three of them. They seemed to like it, thus I can recommend it as an alternative to the existing options. I ate the vegetable tempura that came with this meal and found it quite passable. I also ordered a house specialty suchi roll, which was good, save for the fact it is served (per the menu) "seared," which I thought ruined the flavor of the raw fish. I plan to try this again with all raw seafood ingredients, in order to make a decent reporting of the dish. As it is, any other commentary would be insufficient and unfairly rate the dish.“

“The wait staff were very good, all men, and just very good with our group of 10 people.They have sushi, noodles, tempura, and hibachi/teriyaki combinations. The scallops were large and cooked well. The seaweed salad was crunchy, and my friend enjoyed his steamed dumplings and crab Rangoon.“

“A very quiet and peaceful restaurant right in the hustle and bustle of Cloverdale avenue plaza. I am sure there person who took our orders was the owner, so I am guessing it is a family run restaurant. He was extremely polite and patient in helping us choose the order. He was very considerate of the vegetarian options and specifically pointed out if the noodle soup was made from chicken broth or vegetable broth. The food was so delicious and satisfying. No fanfare, just simple people and good food. The home made chilli oil elevated the taste of food so much. Do try for yourself. Lovely experience!!

“I love Kimonos! All of them are good! I always get either the hibachi chicken or the special for 2! My kids love the steamed rice and chicken. The SWEET CARROTS are exactly what you need to finish off the perfect meal for either lunch or dinner!“
