“My bestie and I tried this place after I was searching for a place serving brightleaf hotdogs with chili. I moved away from NC over 30 years ago so when I visit, I want brightleaf! The hotdogs are boiled and steamed JUST LIKE I LOVE THEM! The chili sauce is perfect! I also ordered a hamburger and my bestie ordered a bacon double; both burgers were juicy, tasty, and made to perfection!!!! They don't serve fries but they do have chips, ice cream, specialty coffee, homemade milkshakes, hoop cheese sticks, different breads, a variety of drinks (tasty lemonade) amongst other things.

The seating is outdoors; a bench style picnic area. I enjoyed it. It was a little windy with lower temperatures that day so a heated lamp would have been awesome but it wasn't too bad and the food definitely made up for it.

The customer service is pretty awesome as well. I will be returning! It was a first visit for both my bestie and I; we both look forward to returning!

“This is the place to go for breakfast or lunch in Goldsboro. It’s as close to home cooking as you’ll get. Plenty of choices that change daily. If you come in for lunch, get ready to wait in line for a table. Everything is delicious, but the garden peas taste like they just came from the garden. When you do get there, it’s a good possibility that I’m already there. Mmm mmm good!”

“The shrimp with cashews is my favorite. I’ve had it at other places in Goldsboro but other places have so much “fillers”. Here you get a large portion and the shrimp are large. I never liked hot and sour soup until I had it here. Plus, staff are so kind and so friendly. It is the only Chinese place I go to now.”

“Our family went last night to celebrate my husband’s and son in law’s birthday. I have to say I’ve heard good and bad but let me tell you they had some of the best customer service I’ve ever seen! From start to finish, food, singing Happy Birthday not once but twice. They even gave the birthday boys fried ice cream complete with chocolate sauce and sprinkles and a candle to make a wish.The entertainment and just being the center of attention was WONDERFUL ❤️ Thank you to everyone who made our night with you a sweet success.
