“Reviewing this place after I have been here for more than 10 times and having tried many items from menu. Some of the best foods to get here are punugulu and uthapam as they make them fresh and hot. Some of the overrated dishes include paneer dosa, chicken frankie, egg bonda, samosas and any indo chinese items - these dishes were just decent ane maybe a one time try. Some of these overrated items are also on a pricer side compared to other competitors in that area. The owner and the people who prepare the food are kind. A place to visit if you want to have some evening snacks or tiffin.“

“This is the only place where I enjoy Thalis, different Sabzi’s (not same old paneer nonsense), sambar, rasam , diff types of rice and more….no heavy butter or heavy cream usage makes it my most picked choice for my kids. Recently they renovated the whole place and we were pleasantly surprised to a very warm and welcoming picture of Lord Buddha. Staff, owner, service everything is excellent. They have multiple other options too including the regular traditional Dosas, Idli and so much more“

“We are constantly in search of the best Gobi Manchurian, this place has a great dish. Highly recommend. They were very accommodating with kids and spice levels. Everything we had was fresh and flavorful. Obvious everything was made in house. Will go back when in town.“

“I stumbled upon Exotica at an India Food Festival in Charleston, SC. I’ve been on an Indian Food kick so I had to go see what this festival had to offer. Exotica had an impressive spread of food that was well displayed esthetically and from a food quality and safely standpoint. I’m a kitchen manager and caterer so that stands out and matters to me. They had the longest of a lot of long lines which told me it should be good. I was right. It was top notch. They far exceeded my expectations for the event. I didn’t know what most of the menu was so I looked everything up while I waited and made a list on my hand. My favorites of what I chose were the Samosa Chat, Onion Samosa and the Madurai Malli Dosa. Everything was amazing though. Sooo many flavors!! I’ll definitely be going to their restaurant the next time I’m near Charlotte. 10000% Now that I look at the full menu I see so much more that I need to try. Definitely a happy little accident finding this gem. 20/10 recommend :)“

“Everything was excellent at this restaurant! Went for my husbands birthday and Anil made sure everything was taken care of. I even forgot to bring a candle and he had one ready for me so my husband could blow out his candles. We had the prawns for app and the chili chicken. Our entrees were lamb curry, chicken Tika masala, and garlic nan. Sorry no pics because it was so good I forgot to take them! We will definitely be back!“

“Dosa and More offers delicious South Indian classics and Indian fast food under one roof. The Masala Dosa was crispy with flavorful potato filling, and the Mini Idli Sambar was soft and comforting. We also tried Pav Bhaji and Chole Bhature—both were rich, spicy, and satisfying.
Fast service, friendly staff, and affordable prices make it a great spot for a quick, tasty bite. Whether you're craving dosas or street-style snacks, this place delivers.“

“Today we visited this restaurant and enjoyed nice food. Prices are reasonable too. People who insist only vegetarian food can enjoy here because it’s purely vegetarian. Their coconut chutney and sambhar are delicious. The lady Olga’s customer service is very nice. This was our third time visiting this restaurant and the food was as good as it was at the first time which means their quality is great!“

“I remember come to Persis when they first opened, a few years back. I brought my daughter to try Indian food, after church today and she was hooked as soon as she melted the fresh aromas when we walked through the door. Everything was simply amazing. It good to see the place still in business and bringing amazing food with quality service. Thank you all so much.“

“I did a to go order online, but I did go in to pick it up. The interior of the restraunt was very clean and nicely decorated. The service was great. The food was good. I gave 4 stars for the food simply because I was a bit disappointed in the lack of spice. I do realize that everyone's taste is different, and others may feel differently.“

“Visited this place late night after a concert downtown. We were seated immediately. Service was efficient and even though the server was busy she did a great job. I ordered the lamb Palak. The food was hot and full of flavor. I was extremely pleased with the quality of the food.“

“I’ve been a regular at Dakshin and always enjoyed the food in the past. However, my recent visit was very disappointing and completely changed my perception of the place.
I ordered Malai Tikka Kebab, Chicken 777, and Chettinad Chicken. Unfortunately, the food was not up to the mark this time — the kebab was undercooked and lacked flavor, and the other dishes didn’t taste fresh or properly seasoned.
I raised my concerns with the staff, and while they did make an effort to fix the issue, the quality remained the same. I couldn’t eat anything in the end. I still paid the bill out of respect for the staff, as I understand it’s not the waiter’s fault.“
“Amazing food. Very flavorful and you just cannot beat the price for the amount of food you get. I don’t see why people have gave this establishment bad reviews… BRING YOUR CARD FOR PAYMENT! The times I have been, they did not take my cash due to coin/bill shortage (I suppose). I recommend the butter chicken over white rice!“

“Yeah Mon! If you are looking for the real deal mon, then this is the thing! Jamaican food at its best. Tonight was my first visit to Fidels Kitchen and I was impressed with how tasty, spicy, and authentic it all was. Admittedly, I am not from Jamaica, but I am from Florida which has some great Jamaican food too. I had been hankering for some red snapper and I had a Groupon for this place plus I had to head near their side of town anyway. I ordered the Red Snapper Escovitch with the rice&peas and the mac and cheese. The snapper was excellent, cooked just right and covered with a clear sauce that was freshly tangy and spicy hot (but not too much) with onions, Irish potato slices, and thin slices of Scotch Bonnet pepper. (Scotch Bonnet peppers are very closely related to habanero peppers.) I also ordered a small portion of curry goat. The last time I had curry goat Jamaican style this darn good was in the Jamaican Town of Flushings, Queens, NYC. That place was known for its curried goat and Fidels matches it! (Is that Blue Mountain Hot Curry?) The rice&peas portion was huge and full of flavor. The mac and cheese was certainly cheesy and not some fake Kraft powder-like cheese. Its top was toasted with just a touch of crispness. Topping it all off were a couple of slices of plantain. Please keep in mind that this location is takeout only! Fidels Kitchen is part of the South Ends Eats which houses seven different restaurants. Customers for all seven doors go thru the same entrance and the lobby is where to pick up or order food. When the food is ready, it is stashed in a locker box and you use your phone app at the kiosk and the locker door pops open. Quite a unique setup. There is no indoor seating, but there is outdoor seating with picnic tables around the side of the building. (Rumor has it that there might be another Fidels Kitchen opening hopefully in the near future in Concord.)“
