“Driving through the area and found the restaurant on a simple Google maps search. My husband loooves steak. Haggerty’s ended up being a fantastic find, steaks for both of us were done to perfection. Each came with a side salad that was delicious and lots of toppings (my fave). We each ordered cocktails, and loved that too. I wish I paid attention to our servers name. She did a great service to the company, she was excellent and very attentive even though she was busy with other customers. Even the hostess seating was very welcoming and wished us well on our way out. Happy full customers for the rest of our drive.”

“We had our class reunion at 51 Sycamore on September 23, the day that tropical storm Ophelia visited. Due to the conditions we weren't able to use the patio at the beginning of the event. Mr. Bennett, Victoria, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The staff was courteous, the food was excellent, and once the weather improved they worked quickly to make the patio area available for us to use. They treated us like family. Thank you so much. You helped make our event a huge success. I will recommend 51 Sycamore to anyone who needs a nice, high class venue for their events.”

“I visited this establishment during my visit for a family reunion and it was like stepping back in time. The town is very much old, but it's okay. The inside, definitely needs to be updated, but this is coming from an out of towner. I ordered the grilled chicken salad to go with ranch abd when I tell you, I was in heaven....I WAS IN HEAVEN. I'm normally not a fan of iceberg lettuce, but the combination with that, the fresh grilled chicken, red onion, olblack olives, cucumbers, and shredded cheese with the ranch (not sure the vendor) made me fall in love I should have gotten a large because the small wasn't enough, but I was new to the restaurant and wasn't sure on how it would taste.”

“Ordered tenderloin and gravy and received just a piece of fried tenderloin with no gravy. The tenderloin was very thin and tough, but was seasoned well. The eggs were good. I didn't eat the biscuit, because I thought I was going to have gravy.”

“The food was delicious but the process of getting what I asked for was not simple. We requested a gluten-free order of grilled nuggets n fries to be bagged separately for my friend; they did not bag the order separately. I said I wanted the same meal but they gave me fried nuggets instead of grilled nuggets. But the manager was very understanding, clarified our order and remade the gluten-free order for my friend so we were happy.”

“We stopped on our way back from lake gaston. We got a black coffee, turkey sausage egg and cheese English muffin, a sausage egg and cheese biscuit, and a blueberry muffin. Everything was good, staff was nice, blueberry are top tier. This place is like a McDonald’s that specializes in breakfast items, and there’s a reason McDonald’s has been so successful!?”

It had a firm crispiness on the outside with the slightly melted cheese on the inside. There are very friendly folks working here and the service was good as well.”

This is the best Chinese around : Better quality and better variety than New China, Panda China, and Hunam.I really wished they would have reopened the buffet because I'm convinced they would drive the other buffets into bankruptcy.Inside needs to be updated and cleaned completely which might be why they haven't reopened the buffet but I hope one day they will reopen it.”

“First time visiting and the location is in a plaza with other stores on the lot. The inside was clean, they have an old style gumball machines. To place your order you speak in a mic and they have a bowl you put your money in and you get your change. The food was good to me. I order the chicken Mei fun with some brown sauce on the side. We got spring rolls which they thought was delicious. We also ordered steak eggrolls and sesame chicken. I would recommend if looking for something different.”
