If not the best Mexican I've had yet then definitely top 3. Every item was delicious. The tacos were unreasonably good; like the chef had something to prove. Service was great. Atmosphere was great. Most definitely recommended.

OMG. My new favorite Raleigh restaurant. And it’s been here right under my nose! Did a search for good Mexican food for a family night together and discovered this jewel downtown. Menu somewhat limited for this small venue but everything the 6 of us ordered was delicious and often gourmet. I loved the Ensalada Fresca and Chicano Carnitas. Service was great and the atmosphere, eclectic and authentic. Super bottle of good Tempranillo for just $35. I can’t wait to go back!!

Overlooking Centro may be one of my life's biggest regrets. For some tragic reason I thought this place was more of a bar than a restaurant, and so we never thought to stop in for food. But after visiting a few weeks ago, I've come to realize that these last few years, I've been living in darkness. I did not realize that pure, joyous, nourishing sunshine could be encased within a humble corn tortilla. I've seen the light, however, and that light radiates from Centro's Flautas (aka fancy Taquitos) and glorious Chilaquiles. It turns out that beneath the mezcaleria, past the hypnotic spinning Mango margarita machine downstairs, this unassuming kitchen is Raleigh's finest temple of luminous Mexican cuisine.
