I had an amazing experience at this authentic African restaurant! My friend and I ordered the fufu with egusi chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. The customer service was excellent; the owner was very welcoming and attentive, which made the meal even better. On top of that, the pricing was very good for the quality and portions we received. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for authentic African cuisine!
With my first time trying African food I was pleasantly pleased with the taste of my dish. I got egusi soup with smoked turkey and fufu with creamed spinach. My boyfriend got the jerked chicken and jollof rice with creamed spinach. We both were obsessed with the layers of flavor and perfect amount of spice. What a pleasure it was dining at Elle et moi , the owner and his wife took great care of us , made us feel like family , I’m originally from Haiti , living in GA and I wanted to try something different during my stay in NC , the egusi goat and fufu was amazing , ordered jollof and tilapia to go , my girl got jollof , spinach and red snapper , everything was a 10/10 , will definitely come back whenever I’m in town.
