Lori and I had just finished delivering marketing materials to a home in Chapel Hill and needed a quick reset before heading back to Wake Forest. Gizmo was the perfect stop.
Cold beer. Good atmosphere. No spreadsheets. No contracts. No one asking us what the Zestimate is.
Just a solid place to sit down, relax, and remember that sometimes the best part of a long real estate day is a good local brewery and a few minutes off your feet.
The team there was friendly and the vibe was exactly what you want after a day of driving around the Triangle showing homes and delivering marketing packets.
If you’re out running errands, showing homes, or just pretending to work while enjoying a good craft beer, Gizmo is a great place to land.
Five stars from two tired realtors who definitely earned that beer.

Enjoyed my recent visit just after Christmas. The bartender was friendly and interested in the beers. The beer selection was great for the season with several great ones and something for everyone probably. Good music playing as well. It’s buried deep in industrial park but worth a visit.

We were here on Friday evening with my husband. We took a flight to try different types of beer. In the end we liked only one type. The prices are good, not expensive. The staff was reserved and not emotional. We sat outside because the weather was nice, there was live music, a girl sang on the guitar, families and couples also enjoyed the evening. there was a food truck on the territory, but we did not buy food. This brewery is located in an industrial area, at first it confused me a little but I recommend!

I visited today for a Pilates & Yoga event that my gym Sk1ll has here weekly. Gizmo is located not far off Glenwood/70 in the Umstead industrial area. Easy parking, dog friendly and a nice relaxing environment. Ben was very helpful and a nice guy. I sampled a THC Beer called Delta Quench. I enjoy edibles on rare occasions, so this was something new for me to try for relaxation purposes. Very refreshing ! I also had the Ginger Beekeeper. Very light and deliciously refreshing after an intense Pilates/Yoga class. I plan to return and bring my dog to enjoy the patio and other new brews.
