Update your hours. Took a bus here on my day off only to disappointedly find this store closed. Great food, but inconsiderate management.

Smashed Waffles is sooo good! I love going there whenever I want something sweet yet have options! I always order a variety of their waffles because you can mix and match however you want!

Terrific unique take on the breakfast classic. Hard on the outside, soft on the inside and excellent toppings options.

First time visiting here...a different and delicious take on the waffle. I would definitely recommend this place. We got a sampler of all the different flavors of waffles and were not disappointed in any one of them. I also highly recommend the Happy Go Clucky (fried chicken, bacon, and cheese sandwich. Great place, will go back again.

Do yourself a favor and order the Happy Go Clucky -- so good! The other waffles are also delicious, the location is a bit small and fills up quickly, but that generally means you're in a good place if it's busy. Seemed to be a bit smoky inside (perhaps something cooked a bit too long?) but I'm guessing that's not a usual thing. If I lived closer, I'd probably drop in all the time.

Pretty overpriced for some stiff low quality waffles. Whatever batter they're using just sucks. Save yourself some trouble and go get a waffle from Waffle House, WAY better and a lot cheaper.

Waffles were really good and unique. I would give this place a 5/5 if they served bacon as a side option. Also, I went here on February 10, 2019 (winter) and it was 41° outside and the employees had the front door wide open. I get your point that you want to seem "inviting" to the public, but c'mon... door wide open on a 41° day in February when it's peak flu season?! All customers inside were freezing. NCSU college girl at table next to me was literally shivering and chattering her teeth with her arms clinched across her chest while trying to maintain her fork and someone eat. Other than that, the waffles were good.. but like I suggest- add bacon as a side option, and don't prop the front door open when it's a frigid 41° outside.

I came across smashed waffle on yelp as we were looking for a place to grab some dinner, I checked the reviews and we had to try it! & You have to try smashed waffle if you're from out of town or have never been. They have a perfect selection of waffles and we really enjoyed everything we had. We got the cereal thriller, sin city, chip chip hooray, the bff, and the Cookie Monster latte! I would recommend them all, and we are so glad we decided to stop in here on our short trip to Raleigh from VB. The staff was friendly and we will definitely visit next time we are back! These are much better than your average breakfast donut because the waffle balances out with the sweet toppings! Such a wonderful idea and business. Opening up more of these would be such awesome.

Cute little place. Fun signs and sayings on the walls. The BFF is amazing. Bacon egg and cheddar. The waffles are slightly sweet, with the salty bacon and cheese. Amazing. Definitely a place to try. Edit: my boyfriend just did the Hot Shot Challenge. He loves hot food and he absolutely loved this shot.

Stopped by with my husband after looking for a place to grab a bite using maps. This place was recommended and I'm glad we came. Food was good, place is clean, & staff is friendly. I had the Swirly Sin waffle. He had the Chatty Patty Smashedwich. I highly recommend and will likely visit again when in the area (across from NC State)
