My wife and I go there often. I've given them quite a bit of verbal advertising as well. The food is very good. The people are downhome nice and friendly. The pricing very reasonable. This is one of 'our' spots to eat.
If you want fresh, southern, artery clogging, delicious biscuits -- this is THE place to go. The large biscuits are the size of a burger. I got the country ham and there was at least four times the amount of meat that you get at one of the chain restaurants. If you are from Charlotte and visiting the NC Zoo, drive the extra 15 minutes, it's worth it. It feels good to support a local business too.

I liked the food their chicken biscuit is huge the chicken is thick which will fill you up quickly. The staff was nice and the drunk with combo is with the money all in all a pretty good place to try out if you have never beenParking: Parking lot isn't too big but you can find a place to park though
