“My boyfriend and I came here for a spontaneous mini road trip date and we were both so happy we picked Buckets! We drove 40 minutes to check this place out and it was SO WORTH IT. We love supporting local businesses, and this is a business that is more than deserving of that support. We got there late as we both worked late and we asked if it was still ok to order food. The wait staff and bartender were extremely hospitable, welcoming, and attentive. The menu offers a wide range of options and classic bar food. And the prices are more than reasonable for drinks and food! I had a painkiller, it was made to perfection and they even served it with one of those cute lil tiki umbrellas. Because we got there so late they were out of pasta, which didn't bother us at all because it was easy enough to pick something else. Our waitress even gave us a discount on the food we ordered to make up for being out of pasta. We both insisted she did not have to do that, but we still appreciate the extra mile that she went to make sure we felt taken care of. We got the jalapeño poppers, fried ravioli, mashed potatoes (which my boyfriend was very excited to see on a menu at a bar, neither of us had seen that before), the philly cheesesteak, and sweet potato fries with the marshmallow dip. All of the food was AMAZING. The jalapeño poppers were wrapped in bacon, the fried ravioli was perfect, the mashed potatoes were BANGIN, philly cheesesteak was awesome and the waitress was sure to ask what toppings I wanted on it. The sweet potato fries are the PERFECT cut for that just right ratio of fry to filling, and the marshmallow dip was so unique and delicious. We will absolutely be returning on our next spontaneous mini road trip date night.“
