travelled thru in april found this gem on the internet . The menu looked very interesting, stopped by and had a great meal flavors I haven't had b 4 . it was cooked to perfection
Well I have to say they have wonderful service. I have been there 3 times and my experience was good. The first time I had their pork chop which was great. The second and third time I had their brisket and lamb they were neither brisket nor lamb. The brisket had the flavor but the meat was a type of beef roast not brisket and the lamb was the same. I cook both and I know the texture of their meat and taste. I know for a fact theirs were neither brisket or lamb.
We stayed in Rocky Mount overnight on our way home to Florida. What a wonderful choice we made for dinner!
The burgers are beyond amazing. Excellent bourbon list. The bartender made a fantastic old fashioned. Used proper glassware & had huge oval ice cubes.
Friendly & efficient service. Locals are so lucky! Definitely try this spot if driving through.
