“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Trade Street Diner, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Nestled in a charming corner of town, this gem of a diner captures the essence of comfort food with a gourmet twist. The ambiance of Trade Street Diner is inviting and cozy, perfect for a casual breakfast and lunch. The decor strikes a perfect balance between modern chic and nostalgic charm, creating an atmosphere that feels both familiar and unique. Now, let's talk about the food. Every dish I tried was a testament to the diner’s commitment to quality and flavor. The menu offers a delightful array of options, from classic breakfast staples to innovative lunch creations. The ingredients are clearly fresh, and each meal is prepared with meticulous care. My personal favorite was the avocado toast with poached eggs – the perfect blend of textures and flavors that left me craving more. What truly sets Trade Street Diner apart, however, is the owner, Tania. Tania's passion for her craft is evident in every aspect of the diner. Her warm and welcoming presence makes every guest feel like family. She takes the time to greet her patrons, ensuring that everyone feels at home. Tania's dedication to her community and her unwavering commitment to excellence shine through in every detail, from the food to the service. Trade Street Diner is more than just a place to eat; it’s a culinary haven where comfort meets creativity. Whether you're a local or just passing through, a visit to Trade Street Diner is a must. Kudos to Tania and her team for creating such a wonderful dining experience. I can’t wait to return!“

“Very unique place! I am not familiar w Mexican desserts , but I plan to be! Today we tried several things and all were delish. The owner makes every ice cream fresh by hand....also all of the frozen bars are homemade. I had a spicy pineapple bar and it was so good. Real pieces of pineapple. No fake artificial junk. I have already shared about this place on my fb. We will be visiting often this summer. Totally recommend this family business.“

“Every item I have tried has been phenomenal. The Honey Creemee ice-cream is the perfect balance between the sweet cream and local honey. Using the high quality Milk from Big Bottom milk company makes the difference known when you want another serving after meticulously going over each spoonful. They experiment with different bbq sauces regularly and do not get stuck in a cuisine comfort zone, afraid to try something new. Overall a very well rounded Restaurant Truck.“

“Our choice today 2024 Oct 7 is chicken sandwich combo for the wife and BBQ sandwich combo for me.
And of course the banana split!
Our second visit. Both times the food has been great.
Their banana split is fabulous!“

“Loved the atmosphere...memorabilia covers the walls, and the wife and I were tripping down memory lane as we saw various artifacts. The woman serving us was a delight and served us a generous portion of quality ice cream...which is all we had. Can't comment about the rest of the menu, but we thoroughly enjoyed every waffle cone dripping and licking moment of the ice cream.“

“My wife and I took a homeward detour coming back from the beach and visited the Burntshirt Vineyards. We then headed for the St. Paul Vineyards, only to find that they were fairly crowded, and that we'd previously visited there on an Asheville trip four years earlier. As we were driving out, I realized that we were only minutes away from Sonic happy hour, and an iced tea sounded like something I could get charged up about. Maria began looking for one on her phone, but something about the surrounding terrain seemed familiar, and I told her I sensed a Sonic close by. As expected, one appeared as we crested a hill, and it was the same one we'd had lunch at four years earlier. Burgers and iced tea were very good. Servers on roller skates continue to astound me. I have an aversion to body casts.“
