My wife and I eat at the "PIG" at least 3 times a year and have always had a great experience. The food is top notch with a good amount of choices for vegans to carnivore. Try it. You will like it.
A great place in downtown Sanford for very creative, professionally prepared modern American food. The restaurant looks homey and comfortable, but the food is definitely upscale. This is one of a handful of amazing independent restaurants operating in Sanford's quaint downtown, making this town a worthwhile day-trip from Raleigh. I will definitely be returning to The Steele Pig.

Wasn't extremely impressed. But, my grits dish was good + Staff was nice, friendly + attentive. The night we went many staple dishes such as the pork was no longer available, to go with a mediocre drink. .
