“Early birthday dinner. We had reservations but noticed empty chairs at the bar, so we told the hostess we'd prefer to sit at the bar. Best decision! Nicky at the barcwas incredible. She was slammed and still personally stuffed the olives with blue cheese for our martinis. She guided us through the menu and helped us pick the best appetizers and entrees. She also let us try some wines before we picked one to complement our meals. We had the Cha cha shrimp and mussels for appetizers and the filet and crab cakes for our mains. Nickel made the whole experience special.“

“Pleasant City Grill is a good spot in historic Shelby. In fact, it’s one of the only good spots in that area to eat.
The menu is standard bar and grill food done well. The Jalapeño Cheese Dip with Pretzel bites is a great app to start a meal. From there try any of the Burgers, the Ribeye Philly, Club Sandwich or the Wood Fired Ribeye.
There’s plenty of street parking in the square and service is always quick and consistent. There’s tables on the sidewalk if you have a pet or just want to eat outside.“

“Took my wife out for our anniversary at Ruby Tuesday’s on July 14th. I ordered 1/2 rack ribs with fries and she ordered a hamburger, two salad bars, and tea. The total bill including a tip was $50.00. The Berger and salad was good, but th ribs were tough and dry and possibly left over from earlier and warmed over. I have eaten ribs before at the same place and always good.“

“This is a MUST TRY! I picked up breakfast while driving through town on business, and Alli's ended up being exactly the right spot. My order ready, correct, and fresh when I arrived, the service was friendly, and the food is absolutely fantastic. Not to mention, I paid $10 for the whole meal (including coffee), and the portions were definitely hearty.
I didn't know this prior, but I've since learned that Alli's employs folks with barriers to employment with traditional employers, which is just another iconic perk.
My only regret is not ordering the Funnel Cake Bites, but if I have time, I'll definitely be making another stop! Definitely recommend!“

“Great place to eat. I like their daily. The wait staff are friendly and very attentive. The food is always great and there are many options to choose from.
Dietary restrictions: There should be something available that everyone would be able to enjoy.
Parking: There are plenty of parking spots available.
Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant is fully handicap accessible“

“Food is as great! Customer service was ok. Loved that their sanitation rating was a 99% Don’t get me wrong. I love that they accept cash but they do not take debit or credit cards. I went there to take my clients out to eat. I was embarrassed that they had to pay because I do not carry cash all the time and today I happen to not have any. So they had to pay for me. I will be paying them back but if it was just me. I would have had to leave because I had no cash. I wonder how much business they lose. They should at least offer an atm so we have an option to get cash out. Prices are amazing! $28 for 3 burger baskets and 3 teas. That is cheap!“

“My husband and I enjoyed the delicious food, smiling faces, and positive attitude of the staff at Creekside while traveling through town. We just happened upon the restaurant from a google search, and could have been more satisfied. Our food was cooked to order and you could tell it was homemade, all the way down to the delicious sour cream.Creekside will definitely be seeing us again!“

“Overall this place is super adorable and fun, it’s definitely a nice log cabin feel. I was a bit disappointed in the food I didn’t feel like the portion sizes and quality of food was apt to the price. The pancakes were very good though, except for my mom’s pancake that was burnt on one side. It was difficult to get a waitress at our table to try and fix the issue, or get refills. Which we did understand since they were short staffed unfortunately. I would consider going back in the future sometime, if they’ve made some changes to their menu.“
“I've been to dozens of breweries over the years, some are good, some are lame... This place is AMAZING!! The Belgian Tripple is on point, and I've been to Belgium and had those beers. They have a great ESB and Sangria. The chicken tenders (sweet chili sauce) were out of this world good!! There is ample seating, dining room, upstairs and outside. The music is good, and at the right volume so you can still have a conversation. This place is a gem!!“

“Wow! What a great hamburger. I have paid $15 for burgers that were not as good. It was cooked up fresh after I ordered it and was delicious. I could tell it is good quality hamburger meat. The fries were good also, they were large crinkle cut fries .And they were fried up fresh.. A friend told me about the lemonade and I tried it. It’s the best around and I even got a free refill. I love this place..A restaurant doesn’t have to be complicated to serve great food.“

“I just stopped by the jive turkey cafe to try out breakfast and let me tell you, do yourself a favor and stop in and grab a bite, you won't regret it! my breakfast quesadilla is delicious! Don't sleep on this cafe because it is in the college, it is open to the public and the food is fantastic!“

“Today is my second time at this spot. I really enjoyed myself. The people were very nice and Kool. Shelby, the waitress has the best attitude and smile. The wings are absolutely amazing, seasoned well. My son and I will definitely call this our new spot!“

“There's always something there I like to eat. Fried chicken(was hoping for some chicken livers),pot roast, fried fish and shrimp, but it's hard to enjoy steak if there are no knives to cut it with. Those paper packets restaurants put utensils in are a useless waste and likely cause some of those utensils disappearances.“

“We've started making it a point to eat out here in Shelby, NC at least 3 - 4 times a week. The main reason is to spend more quality time together, but we decided to take in a good meal as well. We both agreed that the waitress we had was by far the best ever. The food and drinks were excellent and it wasn't very crowded because of the time, so we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend a visit!!!“

We stopped with Piotr from Poland so he has a true American experience… and Becky (store manager) made it the best, most fun one !!
The entire team made us laugh and enjoy the Sunday morning breakfast.
