Came in 3-4 times and the food was awesome. Came in the other day and the food was a little off. After speaking with the owners they went above and beyond to make it right. Understand places have a bad day just like the rest of us but 99.9% of place wouldn't have done what they did to make it right. If you are ever in the area stop in and you will not be disappointed.

We’ve been struggling to find anything of quality in the area because customer service has all but given up in the Smithfield to Wilson area. This place is on another level though. Everything is a safe order, more flavor in their dishes than I’ve had in a long time from carry out food. I had, so I recommend the quesadilla and the mac n cheese nachos. Also, I’m sure everyone has had flavorless boring cornbread before, well this place is the antidote to that, you can order their cornbread in batches and make a meal of it all by itself. The biggest takeaway is that while everyone use is serving bland, old or dried out food, these guys put an emphasis on freshness, actually seasoning their food, and flavor. This place saved the entire food scene in this area for me, I say this with no exaggeration.

Brisket was extremely dry and tough and lacked flavor. Mac and cheese was mushy. Cornbread was dry and inedible. Collards were just ok. Staff was friendly and the restaurant appeared clean. Prices were steep. $55 for two brisket platters.

Great atmosphere. The plate I got was a brisket and 2 sides plus I ordered a pint of bake beans. The meat was delicious! Per the sides...well everything I got needed some more love. The baked beans tasted straight from a can. Mac and cheese was homemade but was lacking salt and I am one to hardly ever use salt. Green beans were suppose to have meat in it but I found two very small pieces of bacon. I don't believe it was cooked in bacon fat which would have leveled up this dish, as well as it needed some salt. Now the cornbread was to die for!! Omg I could have ate just that and the meat and would have been in heaven!Parking: This is an outlet and can get very busy. Also there is no parking right out front of this place you will have to walk about 50 yards to the front door at best even for handicap.

Great spot to eat at the outlets! I got a BBQ chicken plater with two sides but tried my mans food too. This is a place that has eastern BBQ where the sauces are Vinegar based. The meats are cooked just right and very good. Now the sides...well they need some good ole fashion love. They lack seasoning for sure. The Mac and cheese was homemade and could have had a little carmelizing of the cheese and it needed salt. The Baked Beans missed the mark because they tasted like can beans. Maybe some more BBQ sauce, add onion, maybe even go crazy and add some meat. The Green beans were hurting too. They needed some more bacon, bacon grease and salt. The corn bread won the prize. Wholly cow I could have slapped my momma! It was so moist and the flavor was spot on.

The food is ok just an over priced Smithfield’s bbq and chicken. I was going to give it another try Sunday I got there at 5:15pm but the doors were locked and the staff just looked at me through the window if you close early than 6:00pm just change the time. I’ve heard other people say the same about them closing early but whatever if you do decide to go late I’d say go before 5pm or just go somewhere else the food it’s worth the headache

This very solid BBQ place is the perfect so while walking the outlets. The nachos are labeled as a large portion but they are massive (and tasty). Sauce your own meat with the choice of 2 sauces (sweet or vinegar). The sides were for were collards, tater salad, beans, and share and all 4 with very satisfying as well as the pulled pork and brisket. Will most likely eat here every trip we take to the outlets.

I was charged $1.15 service charge for using my credit card when I was told that it wouldn't be a charge. And when I called back to ask why all I got was an attitude.I am getting tired of all these vendors trying to nickle dime us to death. If you need the $1.15 so bad put it in the cost if goods.

Never been or heard of it till today,,but I must say a very good place for lunch or dinner,,you are feed very well for what you pay,,I had the bbq plate with Mac and cheese generous portion but could use a little work,,baked beans that were pork and beans cooked with bacon,but add that vinegar sauce that they have to them and it wakes them up,,and the pork bbq was outstanding,,better than Parkers,sauls,Smithfield or any close that I can remember,,tender,well seasoned and flavored,,others in my party had different meals,,but all of us left well fed and satisfied,, IT is a must try
