We had an unfortunate experience during our visit. There was hair in the salsa, and when we informed Famy, the manager, the only solution offered was another bowl of salsa. At that point, I couldn’t stomach more salsa and asked if it could be replaced with cheese dip instead. I was told that would be an additional charge, which was disappointing especially considering our bill was well over $200.

The food was delicious and the waiter was terrific.
Unfortunately, this will be our last time eating at San Marcos. A few weeks ago we ordered take out and I got my usual, an ACC. I discovered a hair in the middle of my dinner. Attempting to be generous, I realized that’s a risk of eating out at restaurants and tossed my dinner in the trash, hoping it was a one time thing.
