Most of the food was not good. They were out of many things. The smoked turkey and corn muffins were okay. The beans were just like Bush's; nothing special. The potato salad tasted like it was from the grocery store deli. Most of the meat was tough and dry. The butter on the corn was way too salty. There were flies flying around everywhere. It cost $52 for 2 people and we left there still hungry. Never again.

Dirty! We have been here before and it was great. Couldn't wait to be in the area and try it again. Disgustingly dirty. Tables left unclean, the floor behind the counter was unbelievably littered with trash. I'm talking to the point the employees were shuffling as to not slip on it all. The portion of the counter where they pass the food was just nasty. I could go and on. All this while the girls behind the counter on their phones. We really left the place feeling like we should have walked out. Now we are considering do we really eat our $40 take home family meal. We came in on 8/27 if management wants to know. Will not be back. It's a shame it was great the first time.

Delicious!! The pulled pork and the brisket were both well seasoned and well cooked. Very flavorful and tender. The portions are large. The cornbread muffin was amazing! Huge and moist, no butter needed. Try the jalapeño bacon Mac and cheese. It’s creamy and not too spicy. It’s a little hard to find this restaurant in the outlet mall but well worth the effort. It’s tucked back in the far south corner.

The staff was far more concerned with a group of people sitting in the corner whom I can only assume were the owners since they were coming and going freely out of the kitchen area. The hot dog bun for my daughter was stale. The sausage was dried and burnt along with the pulled pork being dry. Like in other reviews, the only redeeming factor was the baked beans and the cole slaw.

If I’d not committed to this exit, I would have turned around when I saw the Traeger rug out front and neon on the wall. The exhaust hood has lettering saying, “if you don’t smell smoked it ain’t real BBQ!” Well you can smell it, but the pulled pork didn’t have an iota of smoke ring. No pink to be found. If you tried really hard you could faintly taste smoke. The pork was incredibly dry and tough. The bun was cold. I also wasn’t expecting the sauce to be on the sandwich already. Tomatoes on a BBQ sandwich in ENC is a no go for me. It would have been better to let me sauce my sandwich instead of trying to drown it in sauce. Perhaps this was to cover up the dryness of the pork. The slaw was the only redeeming aspect to the sandwich. The Jalapeño-Bacon wasn’t at all what I was expecting. Perhaps that is on me, but throwing a a few slices of raw jalapeños on Mac and cheese isn’t standard for jalapeño Mac and cheese anywhere else I’ve ever been. The staff was friendly and the slaw was redeeming. This is why I give this review 2 stars rather than 1.

Patrick, usually go every couple of weeks, everything usually great. Took a friend today who rarely gets out and has never been to your resterant. She went spacefically for the briscut and I was looking forward to bbq chicken , you were out of both, as well as collards and potatoe salad. We got bbq beans that tasted like warmed up pork and beans from a can and Cole slaw like the dressing had not soaked into the cabbage. Mac and cheese not good either. I havecto say, the bbq and turkey we got(because you were out of the other) was perfect, just not what we wanted. This was 12:00, so this should not have been. Was very disapointed as everything is usually perfect. Was really surprised as one of my favorite places.

Meat dish was good, sides are okay, and the corn bread is nice...but the atmosphere is kind of dumpy and the place is like a really busy restaurant without the busy. Unfriendly staff, etc.

The first time I visited this establishment I was in love. Raved to family and friends about how the Brisket Sandwhich was the best Is ever had, and it was!!I visited today and ordered 1lb of Brisket....unfortunately it was full of fat, I did not look at the order (which I should have)...Dropped the Brisket at home with some other items and when I returned my son and husband complained about how fatty it was....they enjoyed the flavor, but I wasn't pleased that I paid almost 30 dollars for fat?The cornbread was delicious, but the Brisket made me truly upset to actually see there was more fat than actual meat to consume..

Only gave it 1 star, really should get 0. The St. Louis ribs were undercooked and had no char(bark). Could not eat them. Ice tea was no better. Tasted like water. BBQ sauce was better left alone. BEWARE and stay away. Worst place I've ever been to.

I’m disappointed, this is NOT worth $20. The cashier was rude. Everyone needs to see how small the portions are and how overpriced this place is!

Ribs on point and the sides were excellent as well. Friendly wait staff as blues music is played in the background.

My husband and I were driving on I95 towards Virginia and in searching for a place to have lunch picked this restaurant. We are not disappointed, we ordered the The Smokehouse Sampler and sides of baked beans and slaw. The samples of meat were all moist and excellent taste. I am not a baked bean person but these were delicious and the slaw very good. We would definitely stop again.

We almost went to Cracker Barrel but their billboard changed our route. Everything we tried was delicious including the bbq sauces. Ribs were super tender and very Smokey. Beef brisket slightly dry but still very tasty. Cucumber onion crisply vinegary. Corn muffins large and filling. Potato salad very good as well.

In Carolina Premium Outlets, definitely worth checking out.Tender, moist, spiced just right/not too salty, Great smoke Ring and the smoke flavor is present yet not overpowering, overall high quality and impressed. I had both the pork barbecue and the brisket. Their cornbread is excellent too, they make it in the form of a large cupcake or a medium sized muffin. To the owners:Keep up the great work and we'll be in there regularly
