“Visited many times and it has always been spot on. Their shrimp taco is for sure the best one I've had in my life. Order two on every visit and they are perfect each time.“

“I got one of each style of taco, 2 steak 1 chicken tinga. The meat was full of smoky flavor, tender, and they weren’t stingy! The generous toppings pair well with the meat, the tradicional was my favorite style. I love the simple ordering style. The place itself is inviting, clean, with a nice vibe in a historic building. Service was fast and friendly. Thank you Lil Hombre for serving the night owls of Clayton!“
“Best Mexican food in Johnston County! We’ve had most everything on the menu and these ladies are unmatched! Pictured is a quesadilla, machete and birria tacos. Their Tortas, hurraches, Gorditas and sopes are also excellent!! At a minimum we order from here 1-2x a week“

“I’ve been twice in the last week. Had a fantastic time. Food is delicious. Fun environment.
The staff is friendly. I will say there is a bit of a language barrier between the staff and patrons in regards to English but just be patient.“

“One of my favorite place for street style tacos and papusas!!! The food is all freshly made and authentic. I go there at least twice a week for lunch and it’s deff a cost efficient and delicious option. They have many more food options but it’s one of those hole in the wall places you won’t want to miss“

“Service was very professional and friendly! I ordered the tilapia/mojarra and even though it isn't like the ones I'm used to preparing at home(smashed garlic with salt spread over the tilapia) it was OK and it came with hand made tortillas. Now the picadita was delicious ?. My husband ordered the chorizo con huevos and said he liked it. For anyone seeking AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD, this is it!
Unlike Tim that goes looking for a hard shell taco in a Mexican restaurant ??. That's what taco bell is for Tim. How do you walk into a restaurant that doesn't offer what you're craving and then complain about them when YOU are the problem! No one forced you to stay and eat something you didn't want just like your marriage. You should've celebrated your Bday at home and asked your wife to make you a burger. FYI: the glass bottles that you're talking about are the same Pepsi glass bottles your parents grew up drinking so don't act like you're from the 5 ? hills
cheers! ?
This place also has a variety of candies and other artesanial items from Mexico ??“
