“Their food has always been good, soups are good. Convenient and affordable. Eat in but take out for home is recommended. Inside eating area could / should be updated.“

“Food is good enough. Not the best Chinese food like what I’m used to, but they do have all the basics that everybody loves. I had vegetable lo mein, chicken fried rice and chicken wings. The fried rice didn’t have much flavor but soy sauce and other sauces should fix that. Being inside of the restaurant seemed a bit depressing because they do need an upgrade.“

“Vegetarian options: We're not vegetarian but there was both a vegetarian and heart healthy section on the menu. Food we ordered was awesome and staff was super friendly!

Parking: Large parking lot shared with Food Lion and several other stores.

Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome families with children were present and having a good time.

“After taking out a personal loan, I was going to get dinner at the Maritime Market for me and my 2 teens. I saw the sign for Side Wok, checked out their menu, and ordered my kids "go to" General Tao's chicken with brown rice, and myself a side of mixed veggies. The sauce and chicken were tangy and crispy, the brown rice was perfectly cooked. I loved that they made it original, I found the char on the veggies absolutely. I understand people have different tastes, but I am truly baffled by the poor stars on the food. Thank you Side Wok for a delicious meal I didn't have to cook.“

“I love The Wok. Convenient, hot well made food.Yes, the dining room is still closed, but go get take out, it is a good meal. General Tso is great! The lady working there, is there sun up to sun down almost every single day. I am sure she has good and bad days, we all do. She and her family are just trying to make a living during a very difficult time. I like their food, my daughter asks for it pretty often and she is picky so if she is happy, I am happy. Yes, during the throws of COVID, times were hard, especially for people of their nationality working in the South. Let's face it, I am sure the lady behind the counter has seen 'some' at their very worst. Think about it, Really!Also,Prices are going up everywhere, products are hard to get, and if you ask for 'extra' or change the order, you will be paying for it!Have patience, have compassion. And if we are nice, I promise, it is reciprocated. Ask her how her day has been, say thank you. Your conscience is clear.I have worked food service before, people treat waitstaff like lower life forms. Not all do, but some. Just please, be nice.Enjoy your meal and if it isn't what you expected, that is okay, don't go back.“
