“Every time I have gone the food has been amazing except last night I ordered the ribeye cajun style and medium rare. The steak had no flavor. It didn’t even have salt and pepper on it, and it was cooked rare, and it was super fatty. my dad got the chopped sirloin like he always gets and there was not a lot of meat like usual and again no flavor like they didn’t use seasoning this go around. It was super disappointing.“

“f you’re looking for a classic Southern breakfast, Wayside is the spot in Oakboro. I had the double gravy biscuit and the eggs were cooked exactly right. The atmosphere is homey and sweet—it feels like eating in a neighbor's kitchen. Fast service and very affordable. Don't skip the country ham!“

“Stopped in Wayside for lunch after work today. The service and food were amazing. We also got some really good laughs from the 5 guys sitting at the table next to us. Long story short 3 of them ordered a piece of chocolate pie and the one guys pie was still FROZEN solid. The waitress ended up microwaving it 2 separate times so he could eat it.“
