Had some time to kill while visiting the area and like to try local. I was concerned that there was no one else dining but stuck to my decision.Walking in and looking at the menu, I was a little disappointed in the options but I've learned to ask what else is available. Lisa happily went over the options and I chose the 1/4 fried chicken with collards and Mac and cheese. She did let me know that it would take awhile since she had to prepare the chicken from scratch. If you have not tried Lisa’s yet, do it now! If you want food that is home cooked, delicious and full of flavor… this is it! I highly suggest the smothered pork chop! My husband says the collard greens are some of the best he’s ever had, and the corn bread is amazing! I purchased extra cornbread to take home, and made a strawberry shortcake for dessert with it! It’s moist with a touch of sweetness, delicious!
