“What else is there to say about a Waffle House that has the Dead playing on Thanksgiving night?? We stopped in here while visiting the area and were delighted with our whole experience! The place was clean, upbeat and noisy but in a good way. It was crowded in there, but our food was very good and the service was also good. This is one of the best Waffle Houses we have been to!

“I've only eaten here twice, but I promise I will become a fixture. Just a quaint little place, family owned 41 years, downtown near the water. A welcome respite from all the cookie cutter chain dumps where you're lucky to receive either good service OR good food. Yanas has both, everything you would expect from local folks that care.. You can sense the positive and warm energy immediately, and I'd be remiss if I didn't mention waitress Holly, who possesses those qualities in abundance. Kudos“

“Dined at Saltwater tonight and I was really impressed with the service and the food. I opted for the Angels on Horseback - Scallops & Atlantic shrimp wrapped with bacon laid over housemade risotto and a pool of lobster veloute sauce, topped with asparagus, cold fresh crab meat, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze reduction** ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended!! I’ll be back in town in about 3 weeks and I’m already looking forward to visiting again. I’m eyeing the grilled Mahi on my next visit.“

“Favorite place in Eastern NC for a good ole Linky dog. That's fresh country sausage link on a hot dog bun with mustard and slaw. You have to try it. We don't have sausage like that in the Charlotte area. I don't think you can get it west of Fayetteville.“

“They won't take reservations and we called ahead for a party of 11. After spending money at their bar on drinks and appetizers, They then tried to put us at two totally separate tables and when we requested to wait for two closer tables they refused. nobody wants to meet up with their family for vacation and have to sit apart. to top it off the manager was rude!“

“Just a quick message to let you know how much we appreciate your amazing business. Not sure HOW you do it, but EVERY..SINGLE..STAFF MEMBER is friendly, welcoming and kind. They somehow compartmentalize the hectic pace of their job as well as the non-stop stream of customers (and the heat!) to serve all of us with a smile!! We appreciate you all! “Early dinner ... we had shave ribeye steak subs and fries... DELICIOUSLY flavorful!! Tried the appetizer: Chicken Brocolli Cheddar Fritter Balls-- good gracious they were AMAXING!! House made ranch dressing for dipping. Another plus was really nice gift shop on site... plus HOMEMADE old family recipe fudges!!! WOW!! A really nice family feel to this place instead of just a bar hang out joint. Very nice attentive staff working here.“
