Great food and great service
Do we still have to go through the process of getting the parking validated in the pierhouse in order to eat at the restaurant? That was a hassle and honestly we haven't been back since even though we love eating there.
I'd say the fried shrimp basket or loaded tots are my favorite.
However, with other hassle free places to eat, as long as we have to deal w the paid parking even in the office season, we probably won't be back.

Surf's Up Grill & Bar offers a great local dining experience with authentic atmosphere and efficient service at reasonable prices. The restaurant provides good food, especially the shrimp and substantial burgers. Guests can enjoy great views of the water and direct pier access. The sesame glazed bowl is flavorful without being overly spicy. While there is some frustration over paid parking and the need to validate it at the pierhouse, many still find it a cozy spot to enjoy a delicious meal by the beach. The restaurant has no air conditioning; although it has AC, it has been broken for a long time, making the outside breeze off the ocean a cooler option. Visitors can enjoy a nice location on the beach and pier, with good wheelchair accessibility that isn't too steep.
