Ok not much food for the money

Food was delicious. Fried oysters the best.

scrummptios and skillful fry techniques made for a melt in the mouth oyster and okra explosion production. it was probably one of the best gaatronimic experiences of my 13 years in Sylva. One of those stays that started with a good news of oyster availability moment followed by Carlos. The streams veggies were exploding with color and exciting tastes. My tea glass stayed full. Food is excellent. Service could be better, but it's hard to keep good help everywhere

I’ve been in the restaurant business for more than 20 years and I’ve always been fond of ‘fish camps’ and local seafood restaurants along the coast or in the bayou. Never in a million years would I think the best would be nestled in the mountains located in Sylva, NC. My Mother and I had to travel to Sylva every weekend for several months while my Grandfather was in a nursing home nearby at Hilltop. Going to this restaurant after seeing my Grandfather was our little escape from the last few months of my Grandfather’s life. The staff and owner were perfect in every way and the food is out of this world. I rarely write reviews and am usually disappointed about fish and seafood spots that are not near the ocean because the quality and freshness of the seafood is almost always sub par which is what makes it great. I don’t know how or where this place gets their seafood but it was as good or better than some of my favorite spots in Louisiana and the panhandle. It’s Mothers weekend and I’m driving up from Atlanta, Ga so if that doesn’t say enough I don’t know what will. Sylva altogether was a surprise blessing in a not so good time with my Grandfather but the people in this area and accommodations we had at Best Western
in the river was unlike anywhere else I have traveled. That’s coming from a lifer in the service industry. This place is in my top 10 all time favorite restaurants alongside the world renown’s in the US and abroad. In no way am I affiliated with anyone from the restaurant. This is a genuine review!!!! All I can say is WOW!! The food was amazing!!

Grilled catfish was fantastic. Whatever they cooked it in was amazing. The only thing that would make it better is coke instead of that other drink

Once of my very favorite places to eat! Super careful about my gluten allergy. The guy who runs the place with his brother is so very very kind

Continues to be AMAZING. The waiter was fantastic. They are considerate polite and respectful. And the food! I don't know which I like more, there's so much FLAVOR!

The Wife and I dined about a week ago on a weekend trip. The staff and Owner were great. The food was amazing. We both left very happy and full.

We visit restaurants on the regular and we are out of town. I feel our waitress was not into serving us and they was out of crab legs

Food and service was awesome..fresh seafood excellent,
Would have got a 5 star if the portions were larger , got the fish and shrimp combo, one small piece of fish and 6 small shrimp .

Had a great crab leg dinner! Will be back soon!

Glad we stumbled on this place as I was charging the Rivian. An amazing owner and a hard working staff alongside good food.
