Friendly Seafood & Steaks has an absolutely amazing presentation that truly feels like being on a boat traveling to an island. The atmosphere is wonderful, with a warm, mom-and-pop feel where black and white guests sit together like family. The food is incredible with huge portions; the seafood is 100% fresh, unbelievably delicious, and very filling. The steak and shrimp is amazing—steak tender and tasty, fried shrimp the best in a long time. The catfish fry is huge and delicious, and the shrimp special (small shrimp, three sides, a drink, and cake for $10.99) is absolutely delicious with fresh, fried-to-perfection shrimp and homemade coleslaw. Service is great, staff is friendly, and everything is very clean. Pricing is really reasonable—plenty of food for maybe $10. Food is delicious and affordable. Note: CASH ONLY, with an ATM that charges. The food and service are so amazing that guests want to leave an incredible tip. It is a gem.
