The food and service are always great. Depending on what time you go, they can get pretty busy. Some great items are the fried flounder or the chicken wings. They also have great wedges as a side. The hushpuppies you get when you sit down are addicting. Everything is of great quality.
We had ridden from Statesville to get apples up in Taylorsville, getting close to the dinner hour we googled seafood restaurants ..it was some driving on unfamiliar roads ..but well worth every curve and bend! Had a wonderful waitress by the name of Amy..whom I highly recommend, fast service and the food was exceptionally good! From the time we walked in the front door until we walked out ..we were met with the nicest smiles and most pleasant personalities ..can't wait to go back...read full review

We had been waiting for perch to be back on the menu and it did not disappoint! As always, the food was delicious! The salad bar is a star all by itself, and everything we have ordered has been great. The grilled salmon is especially top notch. We came for a late lunch on Sunday, so we only waited a few minutes for our table.All of the servers are attentive and friendly. It's a 25 minute drive for us to this restaurant, but worth it every time!
