This is our new favorite restaurant. First of all, it is very convenient to our home in Deep Gap - much closer than going into Boone. The menu is full of interesting choices and absolutely everything we've had (in three visits recently) was top-notch. My wife and I plus our neighbors were riding our bikes on Railroad Grade Road and stopped at Riverside for lunch. We all got something different and everything was delicious. The easy laid back atmosphere fit perfectly. We all agreed that we would be back soon. I highly recommend Riverside if you are in this area.Food: 5/5

What a hidden gem in Todd! Our first visit this weekend and we were impressed with the fresh flounder and shrimp, both lightly breaded and delicious. The homeade coleslaw was finely chopped and seasoned well and the sautéed veggies were exceptional. Hubby had the country fried steak and it too was tasty. Service was good and the restaurant was immaculate! All homemade from scratch. We will be back. They also serve brunch Sat and Sun. Check them out!
