“I dont normaly post reviews, but this is a must. I live in Nj and had to travell down to take care of my grandmothers affairs after she passed and after 10hrs of driving my wife and i decided on Smokey mountain BBQ for our dinner. Babyback and beans were awesome, but the potatoe salad!....my grandmother was from over in Waynesville and she had dementia for many years and i always loves her tater salad, one bite sent me down memory lane. It is 100% to a T just like my grandmother made. I would take the 10hr drive just for that! food was so good we went back 2 more times while we were in town, the fried chicken is the best ive ever had, fried fish, country ham, all AAA++ service was fast for having a line around the building to the street, friendly and the prices were great. i cant say enought good places about this place. id tattoo the sign/logo on me for that tater salad recipe!“
