“It's been awhile since I've been there but the large pork platter was chopped up into pieces and had no flavor until you put sauce on it and smelled odd. The beans were good but It wasnt the best ive had and kinda felt like I got what was leftover..“
“Delicious barbecue with a great selection of sauces. The sauces are all custom made and were created to go with the different types of smoked meats they offer. From the porch or around the building is a great view of Grandfather Mountain and Beech Mountain. The staff was very friendly, food was fast, and the atmosphere was cozy. Lots of other options (such as sandwiches and burgers) to try at another time!“
“We love the BBQ here. Our go to place in the high country for pulled pork and ribs. We often do take-outs but sometimes dine in. We always find take out service to be better than dine in for some reasons. Dine in service is often slower and dismissive when on less busy times. Guess we will stick to take outs, food is great!“
“This place is a real gem! When my family was driving through the area, this was the only restaurant that was even open. We sure are glad that it was. They have a nice, smallish menu with good variety and a little bit for everybody. They've got a great selection of homemade BBQ sauces. The restaurant is very clean, and it has a great atmosphere. I bet that this place really lights up during the busy season. The owner was there when we visited. It was a pleasure speaking to him and his lovely staff. I don't usually review places on here, but these guys definitely earned their five stars.“
