“We are visiting from out of town with our 2 dogs and happened upon this place by accident. Boy are we glad we did! We sat at one of the outside tables. The staff was very accommodating and even brought our dogs some water while we waited for our food. The food was amazing! It was the best meal we had on our entire trip. My husband got the pulled pork sandwich which was smoky and tender and could stand alone with no sauce. I got the sliced brisket sandwich and mac and cheese. My brisket sandwich was so tender I hardly had to chew. The mac and cheese was creamy and delicious. We met the owner who is also a dog owner. He went out of his way to make sure everything was great with our experience. If we ever pass thru town again. This will definitely be on the itinerary.“

But it well worth the time. For the food .Wheelchair accessibility: On side door on street. No Ramp at front door so u have go around to side even on a walker can be kind hard go in front door ? “Stopped in after a long day on the river . Some of the best ribs I have had and good portion. I got the Mac and Cheese and jalapeno poppers.The poppers were great , the Mac and cheese was sort of disappointing sort of bland .Owner I assume and helpers were super cool , they love what they do and keep a smile on your face with their personalities.Will definitely come back when we come back down .“
“Some people have never had good BBQ to know what to compare it to. I was stationed in Texas almost 4 years. I've been all around the world and there is no place like home. But since being home I've tried Brisket near and far , to always be let down. every BBQ joint claims to have the best.. If you want the best Brisket , drop what your doing and go see these guys. If your at work turn on Alan Jackson's it's five o'clock somewhere and go. You'll find melt in your mouth Brisket and your supporting local.“
“Delicious food for an okay price! I loved the chicken and sides. Definitely curious to come back. Their menu changes weekly. I would suggest taking it to-go. Only seating is outside and it is on the more worrisome side of town. Side parking around the corner is limited.“
“My go-to for BBQ for a long time. It's out of the way but well worth the trip. The blue cheese dip and barbecue baked beans are amazing. It can be very busy at times but it's worth it, just have a little patience.Parking: Parking can be difficult at times due to location and popularity.“
“I have a severe food allergy to all things pork. I always try to talk to the kitchen to see if it’s possible for me to order a burger and still be safe. I really don’t want to have to use my Epipen. This place had me speak to the chef and the manager to make sure my food would be cooked safe enough for me. My burger was so good - sans fries (fries could be contaminated). My dinner was excellent! I’m so happy! I had a burger out! I will be back barring any incident that may occur later this evening. I will let you know if anything happens! Please go here and eat. So good!“
“First of all, be informed that they do not serve alcohol. Parking was easy. The staff was friendly and helpful; 5 star service. A full rack of ribs was thoroughly enjoyed along with some sweet tea. Carolina Pulled Pork sandwich was very good too. The iconic firetruck in the lobby was really cool and it's my understanding is still used for parades, etc. I don't think they take reservations so you may have to wait a bit. Price point was super good too!“
“This is one of my favorite paces to eat. We usually come in, place an order, and then take it home. They do have a few tables inside, or you can eat out on the patio. The food is amazing!! The onion rings here are fantastic, and I always order the Qchos.“
