Parking: Limited spots depending on how busy troutman is. But we never really have any trouble finding a spot when we go.“

“The kid at the window is nice. A little monotone, but he can take a large order by ear and is attentive to detail.

The food is good. We have a pretty big family of picky eaters, but they never complain about Chinese when we get it from here.

There is no dine-in seating; this restaurant is currently take-out only. Some seats while you wait, but otherwise bring it home.

Overall, our first pick for take-out Chinese for sure.“

“Small, out of the way, top-notch Chinese takeout. Food was surprisingly fresh and high quality for such an out of the way restaurant. The dumplings were fresh and delicious - the best I have had at a small restaurant off the beaten path. Their fried rice was as good as any I’ve had anywhere else in the world. “This restaurant started up when I was fifteen. Forty one years later it is still operated by the same guy and the food has not changed to me. Always great always hot. If for some reason something isn't to your liking they always make an effort to make you happy. Scallion chicken is always a favorite!“

“The food and fast service at Peking are great. I had the Chicken with Mixed Vegetables and Fried Rice. It was very good. My friend had Scallion Chicken with Fried Rice. She said it was very good. Other dishes I've had include Moo Goo Gai Pan, and Chicken Lo Mein. They were good as well.“

“This is the best spot for Asian-style buffet in all of Statesville. The food is consistently tasty and appealing. The staff are always paying attention to you while you sine, and they also pay attention to the food they have put on; food is replenished often, and is always warm. The only areas that can merit complaints are the small dessert and sub-par sushi they have on offer. All around good option, as it is well priced and consistent. Good prices, too!“

Only sad that the restaurant is closed on Saturday's now because after work we would drive to Mooresville every Saturday from Kannapolis to have lunch there. We miss our Saturday visit. “We come to the Hickory area once a year for a food show and this is our second time visiting the Conover location and it's absolutely delicious! I was so impressed on the first visit that I called the restaurant to let them know that it is the best Americanized Chinese food I've ever had. Everything is obviously fresh and perfectly prepared. Rice Fun is in a class by themselves in the "Chinese" restaurant segment. I can't really convey how impressed I am with the food and the people in a facebook post. “Happened by with a friend, usually it’s packed but today only a few cars so we went in. Staff friendly, we were seated pretty quickly. First impression was wow there’s a lot of choices here. Sushi looked great , I didn’t try it but my friend did, she said spot on! Tried the “choose your raw items and chef cooks it in front of you”. It was fun. Food all hot and tasty, staff accommodated our needs very well. Will come back as my family is coming from Vermont next week !“
