“We just drove back into NC from Georgia and it was so nice to have food well-made and fresh again. This is a nice little place with a small well-made selection of options. I had the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and cabbage. I could taste the fresh ingredients. My partner had a double cheeseburger and the best french fries. The fries were Crisp and delicate. I stole several.
The restaurant's name was different than Google, but it's the same place.”

“I went around 8ish. We went upstairs and our drink order was taken then we waited about 15-20 for the waitress to take our food order after we stopped her and asked could we order. The drinks were ok as I had two and had not even a buzz and I’m a super light weight but the flavor was there. The Dj was very good and played music from all genres. I ordered the Rasta pasta and it was sweet and very spicy. The look of it wasn’t appetizing so I asked could I send it back. The young lady told me she would have the other cook remake it and I was fine with that. It took around 20 mins and she came back with it in a to go container and said are y’all paying together or separate? I was like oh I guess we’re leaving. She said well someone reserved the table so…I said oookkk so can we sit somewhere else? She said if you want to sure. But didn’t tell us where we could sit. We ended up just paying and leaving which sucked because we were excited to finally be able to come and see what the buzz was about. Like why you mad cause I sent the food back. She was cool up until that point. I’m not gonna judge the establishment based on her actions but the first impression means a lot.”

“My 2 y/o son and I (pregnant) came to this place with hungry stomachs not knowing this place background the owners or its mission. As soon as we walked in Terri greeted us asked if we would like a table or booth and grabbed us drinks immediately with no wait. She offered suggestions on the menu after I told her this was our first time here and gave me enough time to make a decision. She was IMMACULATE at her job as a waitress and the food was DELICIOUS. Mac n Cheese had a cheese pull the collards were clean and cooked to perfection. When I was ready to pay and anonymous person paid for my son and I meals and tipped our waitress. It brought me to tears because we came into 2026 hard and playfully things will get better. Thank you and bless you whoever you are! The cook is amazing because yall the food is so darn good. This will definitely be our spot!”

“we drive from Goldsboro NC to eat here their food is so good, my husband always gets the 2 chilli cheese hotdogs with onions fries extra crispy and the best lemonade you will ever drink . I get the 2 hotdogs with cheese and onions extra crispy fries and the lemonade. all for under $20. we give this restaurant a 5 star review!!!!”

“Excellent food and service around 12:30 yesterday! We had a flounder/shrimp platter with fried okra, a porkchop plate with white rice, fried okra, a mushroom Swiss burger with fries and a salad and a chicken fried steak plate with double mashed potatoes and fried okra. The only complaint was the white rice. It was definitely instant rice. That's never appetizing. We're Filipino and know good rice. This wasn't it.”

The decor is a lovely blend of modern and classy creating a cute and inviting space. I also loved the little shop area with unique items like mocktails, spreads, crackers, and t-shirts. Before we left, we couldn’t resist selecting a cupcake from the dessert bar, and let me tell you, it was heavenly—literally melted in our mouths! We are already planning our next visit to explore more of the menu, as everything looked so enticing. Highly recommend checking this place out!”

“Charley's Pub is my go-to bar to visit after Downtown Fayetteville has an event, I feel like playing pool with friends, sing karaoke on Fridays, or mingle with locals. The bartenders are the most welcoming and attentive in the area. Plus, their cocktails are fantastic. If you are visiting from out of town, I highly recommend visiting Charley's Pub for great company and a genuine local pub vibe.”
