“While waiting in a 6-hour virtual DMV line, we searched for something to do and found this place! My husband is an avid pool player in Charlotte, so it was a perfect fit. It was a quiet day, but the owner was wonderful—friendly and welcoming. The tables are in good shape and only $1 per rack, which is a great deal. And the food… oh my goodness, absolutely delicious! We ended up ordering more than planned because it was that good“

“Lunch Buffet is always fresh pizza is really good. Bar is changed out regularly and the staff are really great . Didn't even know they had Buffet pizza untie a few months ago. have been several times and the same service same great bar every time....“

“So I placed a online order and I had called and let them know that I didn’t want wings with the variety bucket . The lady seemed annoyed cause I explained that when you do an order online I wish there was an option to what kinda chicken pieces you wanted for example legs, breast , or wings but no you only get the option for original or crispy . So I called back up there to let someone know that I had asked for extra legs instead of wings and I got the complete opposite. I also got over charged for honey mustard it was for 7 honey mustard but only got five .“

“this place is great! i won’t forget this ever! upon seeing the sign which read “Big Bok $6” i immediately laughed. what a nice play on words! get it, since it’s a chicken restaurant? when i walked in, i noticed the floor was very slick with strange invisible oil. i felt like an ice skater! as we ordered, the nice lady who took our order kept saying the things we were ordering either or broken or out of stock. they must have good taste and know what the customers like, since all of the things we thought were bad we were unable to order! like sweet tea, dr prepper, and their signature hot sauce! after ordering, i walked into the bathroom into the most creative and resourceful experience i have seen in a bathroom. other reviewers have mentioned the unique “roughing it” style, which i think is an amazing approach. it would be great for the youth to learn how to survive in the wilderness! the baby changing station had a buffet of all of the toiletries needed for the bathroom experience. the soap dispenser, a roll of toilet paper, and a puddle of water for me to rinse my hands in. after finishing, me and my companion sat down. the wonderful staff gave us 30 amazing minutes before we got our food to appreciate the beautiful masterpiece that the building was. the food was great. the staff was right about keeping away the other menu items we could not order. i am sure that the meal would have been ruined if i had the signature hot sauce! i liked how the garlic parm was a dry rub instead of a sauce. it reminded me of how they were out of almost every sauce the menu listed. The drink machine on the customer side of the restaurant was completely and utterly out of order, which is a good thing, since it helps you to reach your daily step goal to ask for a refill. it also helps you to burn off the calories the amazing, yet unfortunately unhealthy food earned by eating it. after finishing our meal with limited sauce, (which i am thankful for, since it taught me a moral lesson to be happy with the things you are given.) we headed outside, and i laughed once more at the “big bok” sign. what a funny joke! i will be sure to try that next time, and trust me, there will be a next time. this experience was unforgettable. it reminded me of the movie Saw, and i am a huge fan of Saw! if you like the movie Saw, this restaurant is for you.“

“My husband and I went for the first time today. The food was excellent! We both had the fried chicken. Cooked perfectly and very tender. The mashed potatoes were delicious. You can tell that the food is prepared fresh daily. The waitress was friendly and very attentive. Highly recommend.“

“Some friends and I stopped by one day, my day to name the restaurant we would visit, and had lunch. Two or three in the group, including me, had eaten there previously and could attest to very good experiences there. During our meal, we all raved about our food. I had always thought that The Varsity in Greenville, North Carolina, and Mod Pizza on the outskirts of Charlotte, North Carolina, could not be topped in terms of good pizza. I now have a new normal when it comes to selecting the best pizza I have ever eaten. Zilla’s! I am not one dab ashamed that I ordered a large Supreme Pizza and ate every tasty morsel of it, from the variety of flavorful toppings to the crispiest pizza crust ever I put in my mouth. Not one to use doggy bags, I was not about to allow one morsel of that culinary beauty to go to waste. I indulged myself! When I asked my daughter and her significant other what they wanted for a joint Christmas present this year, they responded with “We want you to take us out for a pizza dinner”, that was fine by me. We could do either Mod’s or Zilla’s. My daughter made it easy; she later told me we would be going to Zilla’s. I guess Beth and Heidi have a new favorite pizza, too!
