This Wendy's is always delightful to visit. The staff here are actually friendly and service is quick and courteous. The dining room is clean (I wish the fireplace was working on a chilly day). Restrooms are clean and bright. I know this all sounds like table stakes, but in a day where fast food establishments often act like convenience stores rather than fast casual restaurants, it's nice to have a place that is what the founders set it out to be.
The food is pretty good and a really good deal for the money. Nowhere else, can you get a meal for $5, albeit it's more of a lunch size with the biggie bag. I go here maybe once a week, but the last time I went there, the tea tasted like dish water. Even after they handed me the tea in the drive through, I said, "this is sweet tea, because it doesn't look like sweet tea". To which I was told that it was sweet tea. Had to come and try the orange dreamsicle frosty with the grandkids. Thanks for the new twist on this staple. Loved it and of course the grandkids did as well. Lots of napkins required.
