This is the best BBQ place in waxhaw North Carolina right across from Walmart grocery store and Lowe's and McDonald's they have the best BBQ chicken chop up and coleslaw ever
I love everything about the original rock store in stallings but the Waxhaw location is just below average bbq. Waxhaw location has different menu and the food and service is overall nowhere near the stallings location. I recommend going to stallings rock store BBQ or finding elsewhere to eat.

The service and everything else here is great except for one detail- about 11 years ago, they got rid of the one and only sauce they had that wasn't spicy. The name of the sauce didn't change, but the recipe did. For someone that has acid reflux/GERD, there is absolutely nothing on the menu for you here. They had one option which kept me coming back over and over, and they made the mistake of getting rid of that option and now it's solely a food stop for those that like spice...read full review
