“We wanted a local breakfast restaurant during our visit to Maggie Valley, and found The Buttered Biscuit. Everything is made from scratch and the Biscuits are huge! Will go again no doubt! True Southern Breakfast!“

“It's a Waffle House. The food is consistent, the atmosphere is friendly and down to earth, and the waitresses are top-notch. Fine dining it ain't, but it's a great slice of Americana and comfort food. For what it is, it's 5 stars.“

I have ate at multiple waffle houses in multiple states for years and this one is my favorite by far. A lot of the others act like you are an interruption in their day. No smiles no greetings and you constantly have to ask for refills. Not the case at the one in Canton. We will be stopping in there again on our travels through the state.“
