Food is usually good unless you go an hour until they close and then they don't put anything fresh out. They are also usually out of most sushi but the Egg drop soup is the best in my opinion
One of the freshest Asian buffets we've ever had the pleasure of eating!!! All of the food is delicious and at the temperatures it should all be!!! Employees are extremely friendly and helpful!!!
I like ordering takeout. Freshly cooked/rolled. Haven't been much of a buffet person recently. They do tend to take more time than the Suggested pick up time. But overall pretty decent food and service. Lunchtime during the weekdays is very popular with workers.

Golden Wok in AVL has been a great Chinese buffet for years. The hot and sour soup remains a standout, and the food is often delicious when fresh. However, customers have noted that during the last hour before closing, the food quality can decline as fresh items are not always put out. While the sushi selection may sometimes be limited, the Egg drop soup is highly praised. This restaurant serves as a go-to spot for quick carry-out Chinese food, with freshly cooked meals available. The staff is known for being friendly and helpful, making the dining experience enjoyable. Golden Wok is a reliable choice for a tasty meal, whether dining in or ordering takeout. The buffet and menu dining options cater to various preferences, and the place is popular during lunch hours on weekdays. Additionally, Golden Wok can adjust ingredients for dietary restrictions and is fully accessible for wheelchair users, making it a welcoming neighborhood Chinese restaurant.
