“We live just north of the village and come here often. Love Yellow Mug! Order at the counter, find a table indoors or out, they will find you when your food is ready. Terrific fresh-ground coffee, creative breakfasts, sandwiches, salads (I love The One with Quinoa and Butternut Squash—yes, that is its name). Very fresh food, veg/vegan and GF options, beer and wine, excellent wifi….one of our favorite places!!!“

“We’ve passed by so many times and always see a bunch of cars. We finally stopped in last night and we are so glad we did. Drinks were great, our server was fantastic. I think her name was Gretta. She gave us food suggestions and was very attentive. Food was great. Hubby had the Sea Bass special and I had the pork belly and scallops. Both delicious. The baklava pie was out of this world. I think we will be stopping by again while we are visiting. Highly recommended. Lots of people waiting for a table and take out. We loved the vibe and decor.“

“Great food, service, & beer selection! The fried pepperoni & cheese curds were delicious. My wife liked the firecracker shrimp Alfredo, but said it had some spice. The Greek platter was amazing as well. I got the combination to try both the lamb & chicken. The chicken tasted like souvlaki & was good, but I favored the lamb. I typically would order an old fashioned, but they did not have large blocks of ice. Given what Helene’s impact on western NC, I was happy to see this restaurant thriving & folks in good spirit. This place is a gem for the community, and I highly recommend.“

Pecan honey bar: ask to have it warmed. Very rich. Good taste but mostly just tastes like honey.
Breakfast chorizo burrito: very good! Sausage has a strong taste, highly recommend.
Chocolate croissant: has chocolate on the inside, light and fluffy croissant. Very tasty.
Breakfast croissant: fresh and light. The tomato gave it a good fresh taste. If you want a light breakfast but filling, this is recommend.
Strawberry flavor in the latte was a huge hit with my party.
I wish they had some of the patties cut in half to see what the inside looked like, such as the eclair. ITS HUGE!
Fast pace environment like most coffee shops right downtown. Plenty of seating inside and a few seats outside if you want to tan in the direct sunlight.“

“Every single interaction we had at Limones was sincere, intentional, and well executed. We were greeted and given a place to wait in the lobby with an herbal seltzer. Our server Jamie was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and gave eloquent, robust descriptions of the food as well as his recommendations we requested. We shared the lardo pizza - you should too. This is cellophane thin pork fat rendered just so to melt into incredible cheese and oven fired crust. I would go back for more this second. Every part of our meal exuded that impeccable attention to detail. A ravioli type pasta with ham cornbread and peas was the perfect Appalachian/Italian pairing. The tiramisu was thick, custardy, eggy in the lightest but creamiest way. The pistachio gelato with pistachio syrup was incredible. My only wish would’ve been to try one more dessert but we did make a 9:30 reservation so you roll the dice. That panna cotta sounded wonderful. I could not imagine anyone being less than thoroughly impressed with Limones. My husband was a chef for 20+ years and felt every aspect of a great meal was part of our meal there. 10/10 Limones.“

“We have visited once for dinner and once for breakfast and I have a tough time putting down my utensils. Dinner with 4 had tartar and mussels and calamari apps and all were perfect. I had the Gemelli pasta dish (gluten sensitive) and enjoyed the flavors. For breakfast I had the Benedict Hash. My mouth wants to marry that sauce. The steak and eggs were perfectly cooked, the sauce is bold with lemon and paprika and oh so delicious.“

“Was so happy we stopped in this time cause we couldn't get in 2020. Service top in class and Jordan was amazing behind the bar. We decided to do the trick tower seafood tower and well worth the money despite other reviews on it. Never thought I would go the the mans and order seafood but it was like we were on the coast. “Every time we’re in town this is our go to spot. Shredded selections and Brisket yum! Meats r In some sort of marinated vinegar process, don’t even use added sauces it’s perfect alone! Favorite spot to sit at is the bar area where Ian provides wonderful service! The mustard based potato salad side and hush puppies a great addition. “This place has a lot of different restaurants to choose from. There are a few points. You wanna know walking into this building, though.

First, the amount of people in here is heavy, so if crowds aren’t your thing come out at off time not a major breakfast lunch or dinner time.

Choose your food wisely. There’s a new place in there that makes the best biscuits in the world called “flour.” it’s probably the best biscuit sandwich that you’ll ever eat in your life, but be prepared to wait 40 minutes to get it.

I highly recommend the sushi and there’s a fried chicken sandwich place in there that doesn’t mean fried chicken sandwich.

Choose your time wisely, but be sure and stop by here for a great meal.“

“So I’ve been avoiding this place thinking it was a chain , after many disappointing meals at Gypsy queen(used to love them they went down hill, and holy moly what a dirty kitchen) I decided to try Mr. Kabab, and I was not disappointed in the least bit. After talking with the owner you can tell he has a passion for his home food. He was a chef In the Middle East and everything is home made and hand made. Even his grape leaves take 10 hours to make. This is the best middle eastern food in town hands down… I wish he would change the storefront to better represent his quality of food. !!! Also the kitchen was very clean , which is a must for me .“

A group of 7 of us went out for very late lunch lunch, but it became dinner, and experience is above, and beyond to make sure our night was perfect. The staff was so kind, respectful, and attentive, checking on us frequently and making sure we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were amazing, and the atmosphere was fantastic—but what truly made the evening unforgettable was staff. The place brought such positive energy and made our entire group feel so well cared for. If I could rate 4+ stars, I would. We had 2 Cuban Sandwiches, comes with chips, we also shared a Mac&Cheese between my wife, and me; Our two daughters shared 1 pot roast, a brisket with mac&cheese; our grand son had the ribeye steak, my son in law had a steak sandwich, my granddaughter had chicken tenders with french fries!
