“Everest kitchen has stepped up their original game and brought back freshly made, authentic Indian food to Wendell. Any amount of minutes is definitely worth the wait for a table here, especially since the same friendly faces are now running the show. Being as busy as they are, they always take the time to make sure it's a comfortable wait, so have a drink at the bar! The phenomenal Samoa's come out hot and fresh and well complimented by the house made red dipping sauce. I thoroughly enjoy the heavier presence of basil and excellent balance of spices. The PANEER TIKKA MASALA or Chicken Tikka Masala are still the stars of the show in my book. Cheers!“

My friend suggested 1/2 order of the Spinach Artichoke Dip (a plenty!) and Scallops appetizer (big, cooked perfectly and ab FAB!) and we added shaved ribeye egg rolls too. “We had dinner there last night with some friends. It started out with our waitress, she was very knowledgeable of the menu and her service was top notch. We all ordered steaks except for our daughter who got the French Cut Chicken. She inhaled it and raved how good it was. The steaks ?? They were all perfectly cooked and seasoned. Really couldn’t have asked for a better steak. I have to mention the salad bar too. It was all fresh, crisp, great selection of items, and we all enjoyed it very much. “I'm originally fron Brooklyn NY and I'm Italian. This is the best pizza I have had in my 17 years living in North Carolina. The place clean, the employees are very personable and friendly and the Pizza is amazing. I had 4 slices of sausage pizza to go and finished all of them by the time i was home. If you order your food online and have a family emergency, you are not allowed to cancel the order or get a refund! I was told, "come pick up your food before you go to the hospital with your child. We don't like to waste food." Instead of them being empathetic, issuing a refund and giving the food that was prepared to staff member or server. DO NOT ORDER YOUR FOOD IN ADVANCE. “I highly recommend the Mussamun Curry dish! With an extensive menu to choose from, I was initially unsure of what to order. I ultimately decided on the Mussamun Curry, intrigued by its unique name and my appreciation for curry dishes. The flavors exceeded my expectations—a subtle peanut-infused coconut curry sauce complemented by onions, potatoes, and whole cashews, added a nice balance of texture. I opted to add chicken as a protein. I'm certainly glad I took a chance on this selection!“

“The OG of Chinese hole in the wall restaurants. Not a place where you’ll find orange-sauced chicken nuggets but an obvious neighborhood favorite judging from the continual to-go traffic. We enjoyed generous portions of chicken fried rice and shrimp fried rice. One star withheld for greasy egg rolls. The egg drop soup lacked flavor (to me) but the egg was very tender. The atmosphere was lacking but the prices make up for it; $16 each for our meals plus counter tip.“

I also want to give a shoutout to the team that works here at the Clayton location- every time we pick up pizza the gentlemen at the front is so nice and accommodating to me and my kids. “I hadn't been to an IHOP in many years but it was quite a nice experience. We were seated in a booth immediately. Everything including the restroom was very clean. IHOP now has GLUTEN FREE PANCAKES and vegetarian IMPOSSIBLE SAUSAGE and they still leave a POT of COFFEE at your table.
The waiter was very friendly and attentive and you can settle up, paying the waiter at the table after the meal (so no line to pay at the end!).“
