Cozy spot to grab lunch in West Jefferson! Prices are extremely reasonable. Sandwiches were fine, the soups were phenomenal and freshly made. The chicken noodle soup and tomato soup were incredible...only downside is they can be a bit slow (20-30minute wait is even printed at the bottom of their menu) so be prepared to wait a bit.
The older lady that runs the cash register needs to actually run it prioritize those who are there first. I called in an order and I got to pick it up, I see it on the counter and the lady is busy it's fine till the old couple behind me jumps in front of me so she can explain the menu to them. Amazing small town restaurant at great prices! Whether visiting or a local, you have to try the red pepper tomato soup, it is the perfect balance of creamy tomato with a hint of red pepper spice. The sandwiches are excellent and the homemade desserts round off the meal. One of my favorite family owned and operated restaurants!
