I will be stopping by during my future travels through Carthage NC. Fresh food has such unique taste and texture. “Today was my first time eating here & I was very impressed!! I ordered lunch & had it delivered via DoorDash. First of all, I have never had take out food so beautifully plated/packaged. They provided plenty of sauces, the portions were pretty big (had plenty leftover for dinner) & everything was so fresh. I got the Walking Taquitos & an individual taco with carne asada, cilantro, & onions. It was delicious!! I can’t wait to try more things on their menu!!”

“Having lived in India we are a bit critical of the cuisine. We were absolutely blown away to find an authentic restaurant so close! Not only was the food outstanding and comparable to what we enjoyed in India, but the service and personal attention was exceptional. Highly recommend the Royal Taj and we will definitely be back 😃”

“Big fan! We have been meaning to stop by for a while. Today, we decided to do a pick up order. We were out and about and had a gift card to use. Plus, I was getting a little hangry. Everything was fantastic!—we ordered throughout the menu and I was happy with all of it. The shrimp was perfect in the NC shrimp (I’m super weird about ordering shrimp from restaurants-it’s usually overcooked). ***The white chocolate crème brûlée was heaven!”

The dim sum was perfectly prepared, the Avocado Chicken, Pad Thai, Salmon, and Glazed Chicken and Pork were full of flavor and fork tender. We will definitely enjoy eating at this restaurant again. It is a nice place to dine in, as the atmosphere is charming and the staff super friendly.”
