Sunny Day Sandwich Shoppe offers generous portions and quality food. The French dip was great, with a generous portion, quality meat, perfect toppings, and au ju that exceeded expectations. The barrel pickle and potato salad were loved, with the potato salad described as zingy, zippy, and addictive. Food is gorgeous and has great flavor, though the size of the sandwich was tough to eat comfortably. The creamy tomato basil soup was divine, and the potato salad was especially good. Staff is lovely, super friendly, and patient, even checking up after the meal. The Nonna sandwich was a special, about 2x the size anticipated, with homemade bread and top quality items. The build-your-own option did not disappoint, with a huge sandwich on an uber fresh, buttery/toasted and fluffy but substantial baguette, stuffed with ingredients and delish. Counter service with a large, cozy dining area.
