Buffets in Wilson, NC

“Update: i made it back to the area and had to stop. Just as delicious as before and the same friendly service. I love their lemonade and sweet tea. I made an Arnold Palmer. Previous: It is truly a gem in Wilson. Buffet only. Smallish in size but definitely enough choices and tastiest to keep you coming back. On the day I visited this is what I had. The vegetables were country seasoned. Green beans, potatoes, butterbeans, cabbage, and yams were tender but not mushy. The cream potatoes were smooth and not runny. It held the gravy from the hamburger steak. The mac and cheese was great with more cheese baked on top. The rice was xooked perfectly. The slaw was simple but very good. I would.want that slaw to go for some bbq sandwiches. They had pork chops, hamburger steaks so tender, chicken pastry,and different kinds of chicken (bbq, fried, baked). All were tender and and juicy. I think they had fish too but I was unsure. Desserts included warm banana pudding and peach cobbler, fresh cookies, and an oreo and ice cream dish. They only have tea or lemonade to drink and your drink is included in the price. Service was great. Everyone smiled and greeted you. The restaurant has that southern small town feel.“
